About

Dr Vincent Roy-Di Piazza (BA, MA, DPhil)

I was born in France, and educated in Italy, France, Denmark and England. I recently completed my D.Phil. (2022) in history of science, medicine, economic and social history at the University of Oxford, where I was a fully funded British research council student (AHRC-DTP), the Gilbert Ryle scholar at Linacre College, Oxford, and the inaugural recipient of a doctoral scholarship by the Swedenborg Society in London. I then worked at Oxford as an AHRC-funded postdoctoral research fellow, and as a Hagströmer fellow at the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm. I am an award-winning science communicator and author, with a passion for both public and academic speaking. You can find more about my research on this website, and reach me via email or social media. I always welcome inquiries to give papers, share my research, teach, offer historical expertise and provide mentorship.
